The iconic vases of the traditional Palermo legend are reinterpreted as suspension lamps. Made in a limited series of centuries-old olive wood, these lamps are real luminous sculptures produced by combining numerical control processing with craftsmanship. After assembly, they are finished by hand with a meticulous engraving and polishing process that makes each individual piece a unique piece. “La Bedda e lu Turcu” are numbered and delivered inside a box made of matt black Valchromat that carries an original poem by Maestro Gaspare Gentile in Sicilian and Italian silk-screened on the sides. The container box can be used after opening as a vase to grow plants, as the legend says that the Beauty did in the hollow head of the unfortunate lover.
