Gala is an “atomic” wooden stool made of birch plywood. Inspired by Dalì and his 1952 painting “Galatea with Spheres”, it creates a sort of “galaxy” around its user who, from the center, becomes the gravitational heart of the system, either balanced or rotating around its vertical axys. An ever-changing object, depending on the observation angle, a functional designer piece of furniture having distinct three-dimensional features.

About Luca Maci
In 2009 he returned to Sicily and started his own business while from 2015 he began to deal with design with projects of furnishing elements. Winner of the Taomoda Award Talent Design; the following year he was also selected for the exhibition "Next Future - 45 Italian designers under 40" and awarded with the honorable mention "E. Sottsass ”at the“ Materia - Independent design festival ”in Catanzaro.
